4 years since we have had our Mataka Travertine placed around our pool and it is still beautiful. I was recently so pleased to find Gary still on the end of the phone when we needed some extra paving, and so willing to help. Thank you for the excellent service.

I am not one to generally post reviews. My rule is that if you can't say something nice about somebody don't say anything at all.In this case, I make the exception. Our experience with GARY NEYLAN of MATAKA has similarities to balazs toth.He is certainly rude and arrogant. We had a product query. He said he would get back to me.He never got back to me and he did not return my calls. I went to his business twice and it was closed during his advertised business hours. When I finally called from another number and he took the call, he said that he was on holidays. I didn't believe the excuse when he said it. I don't believe it now.He still hasn't done anything about our issue but he's got our money.It is not worth the time and effort to pursue him so he got away with it with us.Don't let it happen to you. [BE WARNED]

Gary the owner was very rude and arrogant . We visited the store before Xmas and back in early January to lock the pavers in and pay the deposit.First of all, we have been there 3times and the store was closed. No notification at the warehouse. (He was on holiday as he said later,but at least he should have left a notice outside. We weren't the only ones waiting on him) Once we could reach him and wanted to pay the deposit, he increased the price by $11/sqm due to the recent shipping cost increase.(Obviously he has a right to increase it,but..) when I smiled on that he asked what's so funny? When I told him that I am dealing daily with containers and shippings because of my business and I know the shipping is increasing roughly an extra $1-2 every shipments at the moment but not $11,than he told me that he is not willing to sell me anything now and shown me the exit. We went back to Freostone (we were there in late November,their price increased by $2/sqm only) but we ended at Ecostone. 5star customer service,nice and wide range of pavers and they had a stock,no waiting period,great prices.

Gary was very helpful, I found Mataka stone easy to deal with and when I realised I didn’t have enough stone to finish the job Gary opened the warehouse after hours so I could come pick up enough to finish off.It was my mistake and he went out of his way to help me out.

Bought some brick facings. Quality product and nearly 50% cheaper than the competition. Great customer care. Recommended.
